Week 1 – September 27th

Salaam Alaykum (peace be upon you),

Congratulations to the Knights for winning the Junior Division Preseason Tournament and to the Bravehearts for capturing the Senior Division title. Both divisions showed great energy and competitiveness, and now it’s time to carry that momentum into the season.

Our much-anticipated season will officially begin this Saturday on September 27th!

A few house keeping rules:
• If you are waiting to play, stay on the opposite side of the court from the scorer’s table. Do not stand near the table.
              -Let your spectators know to stay on the opposite side of the court as well.
              -Having non players on your bench during the game will result in a technical foul.

• Help us keep the gym clean by picking up empty bottles and any litter you come across.
• Don’t forget to collect your belongings on your way out. MBA will not be responsible for items left behind, and we don’t maintain a lost and found.
• You can find the MBA code of conduct and rulebook on our website. Familiarize yourself with our league’s rules, as some have been adapted to fit our gym.
• Refs are human and make mistakes, please be respectful.
• No swearing and no fighting. Remember, this league is about brotherhood
